Each year, people set New Years resolutions and each year most people fail to reach the standard they set for themselves at the beginning at the year.
It's after Christmas, 2018 now and trainers are out there all over the internet trying to convince you to take a step toward fitness in 2019. This is a good thing. If you want to be your best, fitness needs to take a front seat in your life.
But the problem that most people have with keeping to their resolutions is that they don't do anything to associate those goals with the rest of their lives.
As nice as it would be to be trim, fit, muscular, or ripped, it's all nice to have, but not essential for survival. If you want your goals to survive past that first period where work becomes overwhelming or that first period of stress, the goal needs to be about something more.
Fitness needs to become a key aspect, in your mind, that allows you to become everything you do.
