Reading is one of the most important habits you could develop. Through reading, you can gain the information you need to follow your path.

The mistake most people make is that they assume that they have all the information they need in them. This is not the case. Reading will help you to avoid the mistakes of those who came before you.

Thinking about the past is a trap. It's a trap because, though you are the same physical person as you were then, you are also a completely different person.

You have no control over who you were or what actions you took in the past. The only thing you truly have control over is what you do in the present.

In this episode, I discuss the dangers of living in the past, and three strategies to put more of your focus in the now.

We all go through seasons of life. When you're a kid, you get to explore and make mistakes. When you're a young person, you get to test yourself. But when you're a fully functioning adult, there's a temptation to stop growing and to remain stagnant. This episode explores the ways in which you can grow as an adult while maintaining your responsibilities.

So many veterans are afraid to ask for help when they're in trouble. Additionally, so many push themselves away from other people and further and further into self-isolation.

Here's something I learned a long time ago: you can't do anything great in this world without other people. You can't do it alone.

There are currently thousands of vet centers and veterans charities that can not only provide you with assistance, but also with a person to talk to. Take advantage of this, not just for yourself, but for those around you.
