All of us have 24 hours in the day, but some of us use them more wisely than others. At one time, I would spend most of my day watching the news and then fill my nights with things like Game of Thrones. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in being informed, but much of the news is filled with useless stuff based on someone else's agenda. Do a quick healthy scan of the headlines for five minutes a day, and you'll know almost everything you need to know. If something is important enough for you to stop what you're doing and watch, you'll eventually know about it and it won't make a bit of difference. Similarly, it's fine to unwind with a little TV, but limit it to one hour a day. Focus on what's important to you and don't let the world dictate what's important.
